The above tables have passenger car production figures only.

For Ranchero, Courier, Sedan Delivery, and light-duty trucks, please write. I have a lot of information on hand about Ford truck production and am only too willing to share it with you.

This production information is part of the TECH section on LOVEfords.

How many were made?

Each table shows production figures for the year(s) indicated for all F-M-E-L cars produced in American assembly plants, or in Canadian plants for American markets. The tables show the body style/type code, description of the body style, and production figures as published by Ford Motor Company.

In some cases, individual breakdowns of production by each body style variation (i.e. bench seat/bucket seat) is not available. Perhaps you have some information?

In other cases, a particular model's trim level was actually the result of an extra-cost option, and was not recorded as a separate body style. One-off, special orders, and the like for the most part are not tabulated separately because their body style code is consistent with the majority.

LOVEfords acknowledges that there are more than one figure available for many models. The figures used here were compiled from various sources, using those believed to be most accurate. Your input is always welcome.
